I spent my early years immigrating around the world with my family (growing up in 5 countries), which immensely shaped who I am. I speak 3 languages: Russian, Spanish, and English.

I spent much of my 20's roughing it in the wilderness as a field biologist, searching for birds in the forests, working intense field jobs, and traveling around the country for work.

I have 2 graduate degrees because I love learning, reading, and any nerdy thought-provoking topics that help me grow as a person.

I lived in the Alaska bush for 2 years! It was...cold. The dramatic landscapes and wildlife actually rekindled my passion for photography (I bought my first camera when I was 14), which leads me to the here and now.
